Meenakshi Venkatesan brings a wealth of scientific expertise in drug discovery, protein structural biology and enzymology. As the Protein Sciences Head at Dalriada Drug Discovery, Meena has successfully spearheaded research operations, providing strategic directions, built resource initiatives, optimized portfolios, and fostered stakeholder engagements, partnerships with academic and industry partners. Her expertise spans across various modalities, diverse target classes including kinases, cytokines, transporters, transcription factors, GPCRs and therapeutic areas involving infectious diseases, metabolic disorders and oncology. She also brings valuable experience in the not-for-profit rehabilitation sector, particularly in board governance, accreditation initiatives, and risk management. Meena holds a PhD in Biochemistry from the University of Cambridge, U.K. and MSc in Chemistry.
